ERGO ACCOUNTING S.A. was founded in 2004 by Agisilaos Panagakos, a graduate of the Athens University of Economics and Business (former ASOEE) with postgraduate studies at the University of Baltimore, USA, focusing primarily on the provision of accounting and consulting services in the field of business and public administration.

STUDIES:
Graduate of the Department of Business Administration of the Athens University of Economics and Business (formerly ASOEE), with a major in accounting and a Master of Science (MSC) in Financial Accounting from the University of Baltimore School of Business in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. He is a Class A Certified Accountant / Tax Expert, included in the list of insurance liquidators of the Bank of Greece, in accordance with Decision No. 190/1/29.6.2016 of the Credit and Insurance Committee of the Bank of Greece, as well as an alternate member of the Supreme Disciplinary Council for the adjudication of disciplinary offences committed by insolvency administrators in accordance with the relevant Decision of the Ministry of Justice, Transparency and Human Rights of 19/11/2018. He speaks Greek and English fluently.
PROFESSIONAL CAREER:
- In 1985, after returning to Greece from America, he took up employment with SUN LINE Piraeus-based group of cruise ship operators, as HR Manager and Deputy Financial Director up until 1998 and then as Liquidator for Sun Line Greece, Oceanic Sun Line and Sun Line Ltd.
- In 2001, he founded two companies to provide organizational, accounting and tax support to businesses, organizations and professionals. In 2004, these companies merged into a public limited company under the name “ERGO ACCOUNTING SA”, engaging in a broader range of operations and successfully run by him as Chairman and CEO.
- Thanks to his years of experience (more than 30 years) as Financial Director / Head Accountant – Tax Consultant and Auditor pursuant to Article 36a of Codified Law 2190/20, as amended, with commercial, industrial, construction, shipping and cross-border companies, as well as public sector companies, on issues related to taxation, administration, accounting department organization, preparation and audit of financial statements, configuration of IT systems, business planning, as well as labor and employment, he undertakes to carry out diligently and consistency all tasks that require financial planning and immediate solutions.
PARALLEL CAREER/ACTIVITIES:
He has been actively involved with the Economic Chamber of Greece and Industry since 1985, aiming to play an active role and influence decision-making in the Greek economic sector. In 2020 he was re-elected as member of the Economic Chamber of Greece.
He has also been President of the Alumni Association of the Athens University of Economics and Business (former ASOEE) since 2010, organizing seminars and workshops on economic topics, to prepare and train less experienced professionals in Greece.
